Kanagawa Ryokan Association

We are an association of Japanese style hotels (Ryokan) in Kanagawa prefecture of Japan.

We are establish under a law of "Proper management of service industries" and directed by Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare.

Now we have about 300 affiliated Ryokans.

Kanagawa is a vibrant prefecture, located in west of Tokyo. This area has been playing the leading role in developing Japan's economy. (such as Yokohama Kawasaki or Sagamihara) At the same time, Kanagawa has sea resorts (such as Enoshima) and hot spring areas (Hakone and other areas)  in beautiful nature.

Each region of this prefecture has the unique history (such as Kamakura) and cultural climates. Please concern our area information pages.
